The sweetest words we could ever hear are “The wonderful team at OMG Events made our wedding the most magical day of our lives.”
Zayja and Gary’s vision for their wedding was not yet crystal clear when they first came to us. Zayja showed us images of elements she loved, knowing they were all different in style but not quite knowing where to start. By helping the couple through the design process, a sense of trust was soon built and they knew we had nothing up our sleeves except the desire to create their best day ever.
“The planning process was effortless and the final product could not have been more perfect,” said Zayja. “Not only was the styling impeccable, but the day ran smoothly and without a hiccup. Every aspect was planned to a T and the team working behind the scenes meant that we did not have to think, only enjoy.”
We settled on an architectural aesthetic in a monochromatic palette, with little pops of warm pink hues. Collections of dramatic black candles on bluestone pavers were contrasted against soft delicate florals and pale grey linens. Within the marquee space, different ‘rooms’ were created for dining in, dancing in and lounging in.
A bespoke wall of back-lit arched mirrors was built, reflecting warm light throughout the venue and helping to create the feel of a sexy-yet-cosy lounge room. Further curvy elements included dramatic domed lamps, round-backed bar stools, suspended spheres of gypsophilia and even the menus were circular and seductive.
