Perfection in a paddock.

“We were planning a wedding interstate, and at a private property, so were starting from the ground up,” said Ellie and Andy. When you live in one city and you’re getting married in another – some 2,600km away – trust is important!
OMG transformed a private estate in the Perth hills of Western Australia; embracing the natural bushland, rugged stone of the scarp and sweeping views of the local environs. The ceremony was hosted outside, in a simple setting on the property, and was followed by a reception in a custom-built venue.
Bringing a sense of the surroundings into marquee was paramount, as the couple wanted a wedding that both ‘worked in the paddock’ but would not look out of place with dreamy delicate elements such as the bride’s beautiful Vera Wang gown.
We chose to install a wooden floor foundation with timber trestle-style tables and Bentwood chairs, offsetting these more rural elements with feathery-soft grasses and floaty florals suspended amongst an abundance of pale wicker lighting, under which to enjoy a night of tasty delights and dancing.
“Court and the team at OMG couldn’t have made it any easier, even with us only being available via email. Court’s guidance and recommendations in styling and vendors were invaluable and giving her artistic freedom to design our day proved to be the best decision we’ve ever made. Everything came together seamlessly and looked absolutely beautiful!”
