Playing a part in Chiara and Josh’s love story from the asking to pledge-making has been an honour for us. “From assisting Josh with his proposal, our engagement party, and most importantly, our wedding day, OMG left us and the guests speechless,” said Chiara. “No words can describe how thankful we are and how happy we felt throughout all of these occasions.”
Hosted in the grounds of the stately St George’s College, OMG built an entire event space in the dramatically-lit leafy quad. Flooring was light, walls and ceiling transparent, and draping ethereal in gossamer-white. A dining hall featured clouds of delicate white florals floating above monochromatic long tables, where old world gothic charm was enhanced by the flickering of an abundance of tall tapered candles.
A moodier open-air cocktail lounge and dance floor were in perfect contrast to the lightness of the dining room. Strolling by the baby grand piano, guests were treated to the delights of an espresso martini station where deep red florals and dark luxurious lounging furniture offset the red brick and ivy of the historical college.
A stage was spectacularly set for one more surprise for the bride – Josh astonished her with a series of performances by musical superstars Rikki-Lee Coulter and Darryl Braithwaite, accompanied by the Perth Symphony Orchestra.
Chiara’s kind words warmed our hearts, “Nothing was too much, and your professionalism, creativity and enthusiasm is so infectious on everyone around you. We are hanging out for the next event in our lives, so that we can work together again. ‘Thank you’ will never be enough!”
