You know you’ve gotten to know a couple really well, when you’re shortening their names. Mills (Amelia) melted our hearts when she said, “My husband and I used OMG Events for our wedding day and we cannot speak more highly of the team. The attention to detail and professionalism was incredible from start to finish… absolutely nothing was forgotten. They are creative, efficient and most of all – just lovely people.” Right back at you two.
Amelia and Tom’s wedding was a masterclass in how to make a ‘white wedding’ thoroughly modern. The couple’s minimalist design ethos was showcased through subtle styling. OMG built an all-white room on the foreshore at Matilda Bay in Perth, Western Australia especially for the celebration.
White flooring, white draping, long tables swathed in premium white linens, white Bentwood seating, flickering white candlelight and sweetly-scented white blooms highlighted only by deep green foliage.
The simplicity of the palette was further enhanced by repeated textural graphic elements, including long lines of suspended Edison bulb lighting and simple strings of festoons. Even the seating chart and table signage featured Swiss-style sans serif typography.
