Despite his natural charm and suaveness, Tony wasn’t even alive when the Rat Pack ruled Hollywood – otherwise he’d have fitted right in. And when he pined for a fiftieth birthday party that might look and feel like a midcentury movie set in Las Vegas, he might not have imagined it possible but we sure did.
OMG believes that the best parties can be house parties. We transformed Tony’s family home into a vintage Vegas casino for the night. From the neon-lit red-carpeted entrance at the front of the property, past the gambling hall living room, through to showgirls taking centre stage in the back yard – every last little detail looked a million bucks and magically transported his guests back in time.
And the next day? Tony’s home was quickly restored to its everyday form and it was like we were never there. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
